In 1968, Community Change, Inc. (CCI) was the first organization in the Boston area and one of the first anywhere to take on racism as a "white problem." Today, CCI serves as a home base for a number of groups educating and mobilizing white people to challenge racism as part of multiracial movements for liberation led by Black, Brown, Indigenous, and other people of the global majority. Join SURJ Boston in supporting CCI's important work as well as helping with CCI's costs in providing structural support for SURJ Boston.
